Tera: All About Action The Warrior Showcase

With the end of the OBT in TERA, I want to share with you the impressions I had while playing the Warrior Class.

The Warrior in TERA is one of the eight classes in total, his roles is that of a DPS mainly but he has elements built in, which allow him to be also an actual evasion Tank, should the situation require so.

One of the main traits of the Warrior is his agility and fast execution of skills. No matter what race you play, the Warrior tends to remind you of a mexican luchador ! Evasive rolls, leaps, jumps, charges and many concentrated "sword dances" will certainly increase your adrenaline level while playing !

As mentioned above, the Warrior can fill in two roles, that of a dps and that of a tank and given the ingame feature of "glyphs", you can further customize the Warrior to your own style for real. Glyphs serve as tokens, which allow you to enhance skills, though bear in mind that Glyphys require "glyph points" and different glyphs require a different set of points, thus you're limited to a certain degree on how many you can use. Of course you can reset your glyph-page and re-customize them.

Some glyphs are the following:

Restorative Rain of Blows: Regenerates 0.5% of total HP, 7 hits total.

Energetic Death from Above: Has a 50% chance to increase atk. speed by 15% for 10 seconds

Persistent Evasive Roll: 25% Chance to eliminate cooldown.

From personal experience, I can say that the Warrior brings out the best out of TERA's action combat and this is because of his special design.

In contrast to the Lancer, who serves as the traditional tank, using mainly "block" to avoid damage which also means that he has to be stationary, the Warrior can taunt a monster and use the variety of skills which involve movement to avoid being hit (but also making the healers life a lot harder, who's going to be trying to heal him)

It is to be noted that on the class selection screen, the Warrior is being given a 5 star difficulty, making him the most difficult class to master but once mastered or even if you get into the class, you're going to enjoy it a lot !
